The production of salt was once a major industry in Stafford with a history going back to the 17th century. Now almost all traces of the salt industry have vanished. The works on the Common and at Baswich have been demolished and a modern council building stands on the site of the Royal Brine Baths.
This film tells the story of Salt in Stafford with the help of the memories of those who worked in the industry.
The films will play on a loop throughout the day.
