When someone suggested we should screen this film we soon realised it was a perfect fit… This Bradford set love story features Ali (Adeel Akhtar) a music enthusiast and landlord, who is struggling with the breakdown of his marriage. Ava (Claire Rushbrook), is a pragmatic middle-aged teaching assistant and part of a large and close-knit family, who is trying to emerge from the shadow left by her recently deceased husband. They are both lonely for different reasons.

A chance encounter unites Ali & Ava and they begin a tentative friendship that quickly blossoms into an unexpected romance. However, events and history begin to overshadow their newfound romance.
